Indicateurs

Pour évaluer l’état actuel de l’économie belge, le BFP met à jour régulièrement une série d’indicateurs. Ces indicateurs portent sur la situation macroéconomique des économies de la Belgique, ses trois pays limitrophes et la zone euro ainsi que le secteur des transports.

Description: international investment position (IIP) statistics record the financial assets and liabilities position of a country vis-à-vis the rest of the world. They are an important measure of the net position of an economy domestic sectors vis-à-vis the rest of the world. The net international investment position (NIIP) is calculated as IIP assets minus liabilities. It allows for a stock-flow analysis of external positions. The indicator is based on the IMF sixth Balance of Payments Manual (BPM6). The indicator in the Alert Mechanism Scoreboard is the NIIP in % of the GDP. The threshold is -35%.
